Tank-Weld Equipment (TWE) was established in 1973 as a member of the Tank-Weld Group of companies to be the heavy equipment and heavy haulage arm of the Group.

Tank-Weld Group soon grew its heavy haulage fleet of trucks to be one of the largest in Jamaica, also having a wide range of cranes, earthmoving and warehousing equipment. To keep up with this growth in heavy equipment, TWE needed to grow its maintenance department to be one of the largest in Jamaica, comprised of 28 mechanics operating in 33,000sq ft. of equipment service area.

Over the past 30 years our team has gained a wealth of knowledge in managing heavy equipment fleet maintenance, our investment in infrastructure and technically skilled and experienced mechanics. This knowledge and experience set the foundation on which TWE could take advantage of new opportunities and expand into the full service dealerships of Shacman trucks, Hangcha Warehouse Equipment, Shantui Earthmoving Equipment and TWE Racking Systems.
